If I am responsible for a local government…

…and I would like to set up a project to host senior volunteers from abroad

Several local governments have been hosting and employing senior volunteers from abroad, for the past six years. This happened mainly in a networking perspective where local governments and organisations of the civil society working at a grass-root level co-operated to set up projects each one according to its own specificities.
The local governments gave support at different levels: either offering food and accommodation either involving the senior volunteers from abroad in projects that municipalities run managed by local senior volunteers. …and I would like to take part to the next meeting of SEVEN

If you would like to be invited to the next meeting of SEVEN that will be held in Lleida (Spain) next February 2009, please send us a message telling us who you are, what is your work and why you would like to join such a meeting. …and I would like to take part to a training meeting to set up a senior volunteer exchange activity

We will carry out  a training course on development and management of senior volunteers exchange to be held in Venice (Italy) from the 9th to the 13th December 2008. The course is listed in the Comenius-Grundtvig training database and will involve 25 participants (Re: IT-2008-417-002). Unfortunately it will not possible anymore to ask for a grant to attend the course, but if you are interested to attend anyway, please follow this link How to participate.
